我们关注的公益主题是海洋生物保护。我们选择这个主题是因为我在新闻和视频中看到了许多关于海洋动物受塑料污染和过度捕捞伤害的事件。根据研究显示，到 2050 年，海洋中的塑料总重量可能会超过所有鱼类的重量，这一预测让我们深感震惊，也促使我们更加关注这一严重的环保问题。这个问题的严重性在于它不仅影响生态平衡，还可能影响人类的未来。通过项目调研，我们更加意识到保护海洋生态的紧迫性和重要性。
Our chosen public welfare theme is marine life protection. We selected this topic because we have seen many reports and videos showing marine animals being harmed by plastic pollution and overfishing. According to research, by 2050, the total weight of plastic in the ocean may exceed the weight of all the fish in the sea. This prediction deeply shocked us and made us pay more attention to this serious environmental issue. The severity of the problem lies in the fact that it not only affects the ecological balance but may also impact the future of humanity. Through our project research, we have become more aware of the urgency and importance of protecting marine ecosystems.
Our coasts and beaches are irreplaceable. Let’s save them.

我观看了多个海洋污染纪录片和公益视频，独立设计并完成了一个宣传海洋保护的网站 搜集海洋动物受伤的数据与案例，整理到网站中在学校发起宣传活动，鼓励同学减少塑料使用。我遇到的最大困难是 第一次搭建网站，包括网页结构设计和资料整合。我什么都不会也非常的迷茫直到有一次学校里的project让我们做一个网站。通过和老师的交流我得知的wix这个个性化的网站制作网站于是我就开始着手通过网上的视频和自己的理解做出了这个不是很完美的网站我最终克服了技术难题。
I watched several documentaries and public service videos about ocean pollution, and independently designed and completed a website to promote marine conservation. I collected data and cases of marine animals being injured, and organized them into the website. I also launched a school campaign to encourage my classmates to reduce plastic usage.The biggest challenge I faced was building a website for the first time, including designing the structure and organizing the content. I had no prior experience and felt very confused at the beginning. Then, during a school project where we were required to create a website, I learned about Wix, a personalized website-building platform, through a conversation with my teacher. That’s when I started taking action. By watching tutorials online and applying my own understanding, I eventually built a website — not perfect, but meaningful. In the end, I overcame the technical difficulties and completed the project.

We started from scratch and learned how to incorporate the concept of marine protection into the design, from exploring the choice of materials, the matching of craftsmanship, and how to convey the theme of environmental protection through patterns and details. In the process, we not only improved our design thinking, but also learned how to collaborate with the team, communicate with suppliers, and how to balance the difficulties of ideals and reality. Faced with the high cost of proofing, the limit of minimum order quantity and the pressure of time, we did not compromise easily, but insisted on our original intention to ensure that the design was consistent with the concept of environmental protection. This experience made us realize that design is not only an expression of creativity, but also a responsibility, and we need to think about every detail carefully. In the end, when we saw the finished clothes in front of us and felt the joy of creating something from nothing, we gained confidence, growth and a firmer sense of environmental protection mission. This is not only the birth of a piece of clothing, but also a transformation of the soul and the improvement of ability.
